November to April is the dry season on the Andaman coast and best for island tours. May–October is monsoon here, when boat trips are more often cancelled. Note this is the opposite pattern to Thailand's Gulf coast islands like Koh Samui, which are wettest around Oct–Dec.
Maya Bay has had periodic closures and visitor restrictions for reef and beach recovery, including seasonal closures in recent years. If closed or capacity-restricted on your date, the Phi Phi trip continues with alternative stops — Pileh Lagoon, Monkey Beach and Bamboo Island.
No — this is an Andaman coast itinerary (Phuket and Krabi only). Bangkok and Pattaya are covered in our separate Bangkok & Pattaya Explorer package, and both can be combined into a longer full Thailand trip.
Phi Phi uses a speedboat (faster, more stops). Phang Nga Bay and Krabi Four Islands use traditional longtail boats, better suited to shallow bays and sea caves. All three include lunch.
